Speaking

Kieran Lee Sport Psychotherapy also offers workshops, presentations and coaching on to help prevent mental illness arising in the first place.

Sleep is the single best self-care we can give ourselves. Our sleep workshop helps you understand the importance of sleep on mental health, how you can optimise your own sleep routine, and how to 'invite' rather than 'force' sleep

Anxiety is the most common presentation in the therapy room. Our anxiety workshops helps alter your perception of anxiety and how to control rather than eliminate it, helping equip you with techniques to achieve this.

Coaching individuals and groups on mental health is also crucial in our mission to eliminate mental illness from sport. We conduct mental health screenings and see how well your life balance currently supports your own mental health. Helping you understand your emotional needs is key achieving long-term control over your mental health.

Human Givens Therapy

The Human Givens Approach is a set of organising ideas that provides a holistic, scientific framework for understanding the way that individuals and society work. This framework encompasses the latest scientific understandings from neurobiology and psychology, as well as ancient wisdom and original new insights.

From this, we know if a human being is using their innate resources to effectively retrieve sufficient nutrition from their environment in order to get their emotional needs met in a healthy balance, mental health will flourish. Only when one or more of these needs aren't being met are we vulnerable to forms of mental illness.

Human Givens therapists look to see which emotional needs aren't being met in a person's life, and what barriers are preventing them from being met. Using state of the art techniques, Human Givens therapy aims to do this in as few sessions as possible, with research showing more than 3 in 4 clients were symptom free or significantly recovered in an average of only 3.6 sessions.
